Matomo's tracker weighs around 23 KB gzipped. Kipstats' is 2.9 KB. On a fast laptop nobody notices. Yes — Kipstats doesn't record sessions or draw heatmaps. It does automatic rage-click and friction detection, which catches many of the same "this button is broken" moments without recording individual users. If full session replay is essential, stay on Matomo.
